It was great to catch up with our Xeinadin colleagues in person in Limerick and hear about Xeinadin’s exciting plans for the future.
Our EIIS specialists – Tax Partner Mary McKeogh and Tax Director Anne Hogan – once again featured heaving in the Sunday Business Post supplement on the Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS).
Quoting them extensively in the supplement’s introductory article, which profiles the scheme, Mary and Anne also feature in their own article appraising the scheme and the multitude of changes it has undergone in recent years.
WHAT BUDGET 2025 MEANS FOR YOU
In his Budget 2025 statement our youngest ever Minister for Finance Jack Chambers noted that his “first budget is unique in the opportunity it presents to plan, transform and deliver for the future”. He went on to note that: “Progressivity, fairness and catalysing real opportunity for the future have been at the core of this government’s budgets and these principles have been central to how Budget 2025 has been designed”. The aim of the Budget, which was drafted in a year which projected a record surplus, was to tackle the cost-of-living crisis, enhance living standards, protect Ireland’s economic model and protect the infrastructure which attracts foreign investment.
We recently had staff coffee mornings in our three offices to primarily raise funds for the Irish Hospice Foundation and our local hospice here in Limerick Milford Care Centre, who do such important work and help so many people.
We had some excellent baking skills demonstrated with an array of baked delights provided by staff, though some offices did supplement with professional produce.

Our Tax Partner Mary McKeogh & Tax Director Anne Hogan had a great trip to Cork recently to meet with EIIS promoter Michael Quirk, who showed them the fully completed and operational Lurrig Solar Farm.
