We are delighted to announce the following Manager appointments – Bríd Darcy, Michelle Loftus and Aileen O’Neill. This represents another significant milestone in the firm’s development as it further enhances our management team.

Speaking at the promotions Business Advisory and Corporate Recovery Partner Eoin Ryan stated: “This is a great development for the firm. Three new management appointments really enhances our management tier and is a great recognition of the skills and capabilities that Bríd, Michelle and Aileen bring to the firm. Michelle and Bríd have been with us since 2013 and are very skilled and capable advisers. Aileen joined our firm in January with a very strong audit background gained from fourteen years in one of Cork’s major practices. They really add to the depth and expertise of our management team and no doubt will lead the way for the firm’s continued growth.”

Michelle Loftus is from Cratloe, County Clare. A graduate of the University of Limerick, Michelle is a Chartered Accountant and an Audit Manager with the firm. She joined the firm in 2013 after training in audit. She quickly became a key senior member of the audit team, and was appointed assistant manager last year. She works closely with Audit Partner Eoin Gallagher managing statutory audits and audit compliance assignments, as well as supervising a team of trainee accountants in articles. Her clients range from owner managed businesses to larger multi-shareholder companies. She also specialises in the supervision of Company Secretarial assignments.
Aileen O’Neill is originally from Cork but now lives in Newmarket on Fergus, Co. Clare. She is a graduate of Cork Institute of Technology and a qualified member of ACCA with over ten years post-qualification experience in audit and assurance, tax, company secretarial, compliance, team management, client liaison and social media management. Aileen joined the firm in January 2016 and works closely with Audit Partner Eoin Gallagher managing statutory audits and audit compliance assignments, as well as the management and development of the audit team.

Bríd Darcy is from Kilmihil, County Clare. A graduate of Dublin City University Bríd is a Certified Public Accountant and a Qualified Financial Advisor. She is a Business Advisory and Corporate Recovery Manager with the firm. Bríd joined the firm in 2013 and was promoted to assistant manger last year. She works closely with Business Advisory and Corporate Recovery Partner Eoin Ryan, managing a number of corporate and personal receivership and liquidation cases including member voluntary liquidations, creditor voluntary liquidations and court liquidations. Bríd also works on corporate finance projects including independent business reviews, company valuations, brand valuations and funding proposals/arrangements.
