In 2012, McKeogh Gallagher Ryan was established in Limerick by three experienced professionals – Mary McKeogh, Eoin Gallagher and Eoin Ryan. The partners have over 50 years’ experience between them, having worked in a number of leading national and international firms prior to establishing McKeogh Gallagher Ryan.

In May 2017, Nenagh based Quinlan Holohan Chartered Accountants rebranded as McKeogh Gallagher Ryan. Quinlan Holohan, established in 1977, was the leading firm of accountants and advisors in Tipperary.

Ennis based Clune Lynch & Co. Accountants merged with McKeogh Gallagher Ryan in January 2018. Clune Lynch & Co. operated in Ennis for in excess of forty years,  developing a strong client base and reputation for excellence in the region and beyond.

McKeogh Gallagher Ryan now brings together 60 professionals with vast experience and knowledge. The three offices in Limerick, Nenagh and Ennis now represent the largest independent group of accounting and tax professionals in the Midwest.

In 2023 we joined Xeinadin, a business advisory and accountancy group with offices throughout the UK and Ireland – the next step in McKeogh Gallagher Ryan’s evolution. Limerick practice O’Donovan Lavin was also a member of Xeinadin and we are both now operating as McKeogh Gallagher Ryan from our Limerick offices.

In 2023 McKeogh Gallagher Ryan joined Xeinadin; the next stage in our evolution. Trusted by more than 80,000 clients across Ireland and the UK, Xeinadin was established in June 2019, with member firms embarking on a mission to redefine the status quo by offering forward-thinking business advisory services that prioritise your future. Xeinadin firms are forward thinkers and trusted advisors, very much in line with the McKeogh Gallagher Ryan approach.

Xeinadin continues to grow organically and through acquisition, handpicking businesses that share our local, personal approach, passion for innovation, and commitment to helping our clients achieve their goals. Headquartered in London and with a flagship office in Dublin, Xeinadin has over 135 offices and more than 2,000 employees across Ireland and the UK, with a total Irish workforce of over 500.

Xeinadin has €40 million earmarked for investment into Ireland over the next 18 months, as it expands its footprint here with a core focus on taxation and business advisory services and audit for SMEs across Ireland.
