Anne Hogan’s Article on the Taxation of Forestry Published in the Irish Tax Review

Our Tax Director Anne Hogan has co-authored an article assessing the tax treatment of forests and and woodlands in Ireland under various tax heads. Her co-author John O’Reilly details the practicalities facing Irish forest owners today.

Given the rise in the popularity of trees as a trading or investment asset and the favourable tax treatment applicable to trees under Irish tax legislation this is a very timely article investigating this growing industry.
