Congratulations to Aoife Daly, a case officer with our Business Advisory and Corporate Recovery Department, who was the only Irish recipient of the prestigious ISTAT Foundation global scholarship.
The ISTAT Foundation is actively engaged in helping young people develop potential careers in aviation by offering scholarships of up to $10,000 directly to college-level students who are academically qualified. The program is administered by the Scholarship Committee of the ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees in conjunction with accredited colleges who recommend qualified students. Further details on the scholarship programme are available on the ISTAT website.
Aoife is in her second year on the University of Limerick’s MBA programme and is taking the specialist Aviation Management stream, which is the only MBA in Aviation Management in Europe. Aoife is already a qualified ACCA and CIMA accountant and the MBA qualification will further hone her skills and expertise as a strategic business adviser.
The UL Corporate MBA is a part-time, two year programme. The programme is delivered in three-day, intensive, on campus blocks, with four blocks per semester and two semesters each year. The programme focuses on five themes: Internationalisation, Managerial Vision and Competencies, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Strategic Thinking and Leadership. Further details on the course are available on the MBA website.
