ABOUT THE PRIVATE PLACING
CAHERMURPHY WINDFARM is a 3-turbine 6MW wind farm located in Kilmihil, Co Clare offering eligible investors 2016 tax relief and a projected return of €1.15 for every €1 invested. Development costs are circa €12.5million. The turbines are due to be commissioned in Q3 2017. The site has full planning permission, is jointly owned by 2 of the promoters, with a Gate 3 grid connection offer. The main promoter has a successful track record in the wind sector with an expert team of consultants advising on the project. A positive wind energy yield report from Garrad Hassan confirms the site’s suitability for a wind farm.
We expect it to be fully subscribed so early booking is advised as it will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
