MGR’s Tax Partner & Tax Director Visit Lurrig Solar Farm

(L-R) Lurrig Solar Farm Promoter Michael Quirk welcomes Tax Partner Mary McKeogh & Tax Director Anne Hogan to view the finished solar farm.

Our Tax Partner Mary McKeogh & Tax Director Anne Hogan had a great trip to Cork recently to meet with EIIS promoter Michael Quirk, who showed them the fully completed and operational Lurrig Solar Farm.

In 2021 our Tax Department fundraised EIIS investment to develop the 5.2 MW solar photovoltaic farm on this 10.1 hectare site on Crocane Farm, Aghada, Cloyne, Co Cork. With circa 11,648 solar photovoltaic modules each rated at 450W and mounted on rows of 4.5 metre panels the solar farm is expected to produce over 5,000 MWh of green renewable electricity per year, exporting it to the local grid network via a 3.6MW export connection to the 20 kV network.

It is a great achievement that Michael has completed the project so efficiently, testament to his commercial ability and the value EIIS investment represents for qualifying companies.
